Sponsored by the Department of Music, Yamaha Corp. and Bruce and Dee Pearson, Brass Day on Dec. 16 offered clinics and master classes, technique sessions and performances.
For the final concert of the evening, a large brass choir was formed of students, area brass players, educators, and guest artists.
Band directors were given an additional opportunity to meet with the guest artists in a Q&A session to discuss brass techniques and pedagogy.
Guest artists were trombonist Victor Barranco and Adam Rossmiller.
