Tammy Anhalt-Warner ’83 is the Central Minnesota Society for Human Resource Management’s 2016 Chapter Volunteer of the Year recipient for her commitment, dedication, leadership and exceptional volunteer services to the chapter.
The award was announced at the State Leadership Conference in January. Chapter Past President Julie Schulte presented Anhalt-Warner with the award Feb. 16 at the chapter’s meeting at the Country Inn and Suites, West in St. Cloud.
Anhalt-Warner has served on the chapter’s Board of Directors for seven of the past nine years. She is the board’s certification director and in the past has served as its president, president-elect and past-president. She also served as the chapter’s historian and on the Minnesota State Council for the Minnesota Society of Human Resource Management.
During her tenure as chapter president in 2012, Anhalt-Warner helped the organization grow its membership from 125 to 170, created processes for online record storage and assisted with a variety of marketing initiatives.
Anhalt-Warner is the assistant director of training corporate education and outreach for the Center for Continuing Studies at St. Cloud State University.
