ABC Newspapers — The National Sports Center provided another memorable spring weekend during the Stick it to Cancer hockey tournament from April 7-9. The tournament enjoyed its 19th year with 58 youth and adult female teams participating to raise funds to fight breast cancer.
Leading up to this year, $763,000 has been donated to breast cancer research. Teams are continuing to send in money they have raised for this year’s tournament.
If the turnout and participation is any indication, the hockey tournament will once again send a tremendous donation to the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota.
