St. Cloud State University’s Career Center received a $1,500 donation from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation Wednesday at the Faculty/Employer Meet and Greet in Atwood Memorial Center.
“Partnerships like these benefit student success as employers who are actively engaged in the Career Center become advocates and mentors to students and genuinely help them our students persist in their education, graduation and beyond,” said Michelle Schmitz, executive director of the Career Center.
The Career Center works to provide innovative opportunities for Enterprise to engage with St. Cloud state students, potential future employees. Enterprise assists the University by enhancing St. Cloud State’s mission. Enterprise participates in many employer coaching events where they provide guidance so students can gain the skills needed for life after graduation.
“Gifts from our employer partners benefits the future of St. Cloud State and its students by providing increasing innovative opportunities to get our students engaged with employers in a variety of ways. When we can share these gifts directly with our students we continue to showcase and highlight the amazing talent that our students bring to employers,” Schmitz said.
