ST CLOUD TIMES — The response was more than organizers expected and it happened with a relatively new form of fundraising.
St. Cloud State director of development for intercollegiate athletics Kurt Stelten helped the Huskies’ wrestling team raise more than $20,000 through Crowdsource funding to help pay for new wrestling mats for the team’s practice room.
The goal was $10,000, so they more than doubled their goal in less than 10 days.
