St. Cloud State University celebrated Halloween with “Trunk or Treat,” a tailgate party for children with pumpkins, prizes and plenty of candy. Open to the community, the event was held Oct. 31 as an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating. Draped and decorated vehicle tailgates competed for prizes for most creative, most silly, and SCSU spirit awards.
Organized by St. Cloud State’s Lindgren Child Care Center, Veterans Resource Center, and the Student Parent Support Initiative, the activity drew nearly 90 children.
