Matt Andrew, vice president for University Advancement
Matt Andrew is the new vice president for University Advancement, the top position for fundraising and alumni engagement at St. Cloud State.
Since 2006, Andrew has served as associate vice president of alumni & development programs at Webster University in St. Louis.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with President Potter, his leadership team and stakeholders throughout the St. Cloud State University community in elevating the advancement program,” Andrew said.
From 2004-2006 he was vice president for development and public relations at Blackburn College, Carlinville, Ill. He also has significant experience in advertising and marketing, with service in several leadership roles in major advertising and marketing firms, including Minneapolis-based Campbell Mithun.
“With engaged and committed alumni, and support from the broader St. Cloud community, we can collectively accomplish the institution’s goals. My wife Nancy and I are very excited about making our home in St. Cloud and are looking forward to becoming part of the community,” he said.
Andrew succeeds Craig Wruck, who took a position last fall at Humboldt State University, Arcata, Calif.
