THE DICKINSON PRESS — Jane Cornell is cherishing her time with the students she teaches at Prairie Rose Elementary School. After 42 years in education, she is planning to retire in May.
Cornell is the Leveled Literacy Interventionist (LLI) at Prairie Rose School. She works with three or four students at a time—students who may need a little extra help with their reading skills.
“I meet with them 35 minutes a day in a supplemental reading program. It’s in addition to what they are doing in the classroom,” she said.
