BUSINESS NORTH — Kelli Hallsten-Erickson ’00 ’03 has been named director of the Tutoring and Learning Center at Lake Superior College. A current faculty member, Hallsten-Erickson has taught English for 15 years and served as the Center for Faculty Innovation Coordinator for 10 years. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the professional and peer (student) tutors in a variety of subjects, including math, sciences, and writing as well as managing various other learner support initiatives such as the campus-wide Student Success Conference.
She holds a M.A. in Rhetoric and Applied Writing and a B.A. in Literature and Writing from St. Cloud State University.
