ST. CLOUD TIMES — Six St. Cloud State University students were treated to a royal thrill Thursday when they had the chance to speak with Prince Charles at Alnwick Castle.
The students are spending the semester studying abroad at the historic castle in Northumberland, northern England, where the prince spent two days visiting charities and volunteer organizations.
Prince Charles, who is the first in line to the British throne, spoke briefly with the students and inquired about their studies as he was leaving the castle following a reception at Alnwick Gardens, according to a press release from the university.
