ST. CLOUD TIMES — The long-awaited return of St. Cloud State University’s Homecoming celebration is just one week away.
Homecoming returns to SCSU after seven years, having been replaced by Celebrate St. Cloud, a series of school-spirit-based events that took place during four weekends of the calendar year.
Interim President Ashish Vaidya spearheaded the resurrection of Homecoming as a way to ring in the university’s 150th anniversary year.
“A lot has changed at St. Cloud State since Celebrate began,” Vaidya told the Times in Oct. 2017. “I am very proud of the great work that has positioned the university to build on existing traditions and create new ones as we celebrate our sesquicentennial.”
