ST. CLOUD TIMES — Seven years after the event was axed — and 30 years after the fiery “riots” that would define the weekend in history — Homecoming is back at St. Cloud State University.
“It’s a culmination of a great deal of work and planning across every segment of campus,” said Matt Andrew, vice president of university advancement.
“It’s a departure from the past model in so many different ways, and I think that’s what gives us so much optimism that this will truly be a new tradition like we hope it will be.”
