Students will share Sesquicentennial research and design projects at a reception 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in Kiehle Visual Arts Center, Room 105C.
Historical in nature, the research and design projects are the work of students in ART 323 Intermediate Graphic Design IV: Research and Investigation with Technology and HIST 480/580 Public History.
The design projects, including video games and magazines, discuss topics such as diversity on campus, Atwood Memorial Center’s art collection and Huskies Athletics. Bill Gorcica, professor of art, teaches ART 323.
Maureen O’Brien, associate professor of history, has seven undergraduate students and five graduate students focused on St. Cloud State history. Their research will contribute to the “Discover Our Story” exhibit on the second floor of Stewart Hall.
