THE DAILY JOURNAL — Desta Lutzwick ’77, Otter Tail County’s director of probation will retire at the end of May. Lutzwick, a graduate of St. Cloud State University, began her career in Anoka County as a probation officer in 1977. She has worked for Otter Tail County since 1981 and began her service as the director in 2016. Many people ask her how she was able to stay in corrections for so long. She says she would chose it all over again.
