FINANCE & COMMERCE — Commercial real estate runs in Ryan Connolly’s family. Connolly ’16 remembers exploring his dad’s downtown Minneapolis office properties as a kid, each hallway or office suite seemingly a new world. Before Connolly got to St. Cloud State University, he knew far more about commercial real estate than most high schoolers.
Connolly made the most of his head start. Within a year of coming on full-time at Cushman & Wakefield, he assumed sole responsibility for an office portfolio exceeding 300,000 square feet. Now roughly two years into his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Connolly directly oversees 420,000 square feet of office and co-manages a 290,000-square-foot office park in Edina with a general manager.
