ST. CLOUD TIMES — A bus had crashed on the side of a residence hall on the St. Cloud State University campus. Smoke billowed from under the vehicle. Fire alarms in the building went off. And victims, or rather people pretending to be victims, wore makeup designed to look like real injuries.
That was the simulated emergency scenario students at the St. Cloud Scrubs Camp spent Tuesday morning preparing for.
Under the direction of St. Cloud police and emergency crews, the scrub-clad students rushed to the scene to provide aid, practicing the first aid and triage skills they learned earlier that day.
