Professors of Criminal Justice Mary Clifford and Shawn Williams have been named two of five panelists for an October 6 online presentation titled “What Should Policing Look Like? Anti-Racism Panel” hosted by of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s Universities (CSBSJU).
Issues relating to racial bias, policing, and the relations of the police and the community will be discussed. The hope is to expose attendees to different perspectives on those issues and inspire further conversations on the topic.
The event is being held via Zoom and is open to all. Students are highly encouraged to attend.
In addition to Professors Clifford and Williams, panelists include Natalie Ringsmuth (Unite Cloud), Malik Stewart (CSBSJU). The moderator is Crystal Diaz, Associate Professor of Political Science at CSBSJU.
