St. Cloud State University has been recognized for having some of the top programs in the nation for 2022 by Intelligent, a trusted resource for online and on-campus program rankings and higher education planning.
Intelligent recognized St. Cloud State for having 19 top programs in the country, including 11 programs in the top 15. Leading the rankings is St. Cloud State’s top-ranked Software Engineering program, coming in at No. 1 for Best Masters in Software Engineering Degree Program.
Coming in behind the Software Engineering program’s ranking, St. Cloud State was ranked No. 2 for Most Affordable BCBA Degree Programs, No. 3 for both Best Masters in Behavioral Psychology Degree Programs and Best Software Engineering Degree Program, and No. 5 for both Best Masters in Clinical Research Degree Programs and Best Masters in Engineering Management Degree Programs.
Those rankings are just a few areas where St. Cloud State’s programs shined. Intelligent also ranked the following degree programs among the top in the nation:

Intelligent’s research to come up with the lists of top programs in the nation identifies programs based on flexibility, faculty, course strength and reputation. According to Intelligent’s methodology, it ranks each program on a scale from 0 to 100 across five categories. The scoring system compares each university according to program strength, student readiness, return on investment, cost, and student engagement. Researchers compared 704 programs from 2,900 universities and colleges across the United States.
