Polar Plunge returns to SCSU

Two plungers jump into a red water tank outside of Herb Brooks National Hockey Center with a crowd of people waiting behind

A Polar Plunge will return to St. Cloud State University on March 20 to raise money for Special Olympics Minnesota.

The St. Cloud State University Polar Plunge presented by Affinity Plus will be held Friday, March 20 at 4 p.m. outside of Halenbeck Hall in M Lot.

Last year’s event in front of Herb Brooks National Hockey Center saw nearly 50 plungers raise over $7,000 for Special Olympics Minnesota. All funds raised directly support life-changing opportunities for thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Registration is now open. Individuals can plunge solo, join an existing team or start their own. The first 50 people registered who use promo code AFFINITYPLUSSCSU will receive a $26 donation.
