St. Cloud Times — Keyshawn Davis didn’t always know college track and field was an option for him.
The Milwaukee native was recruited by St. Cloud State for football and has turned himself into a starter at cornerback.
But when he came to St. Cloud State back in 2013, the 5-foot-10, 190-pound Davis realized that being a dual-sport athlete was a possibility.
“I signed up for track and field when it was presented to me,” Davis said. “My goal has always been to become a professional athlete. I was a pretty good jumper in track in high school, but I was never recruited for it.”
