St. Cloud State University alumni are busy helping improve reading and mathematics skills this year through volunteering with the Minnesota Reading and Math corps.

The Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math Corps are AmeriCorps programs that help more than 35,000 students each year build foundational skills that prepare them for academic success and are vital to the 21st century economy.
Reading Corps serves students age 3 to third grade to build literacy proficiency, and Math Corps serves students in fourth through eighth grade with math acquisition skills.
Both programs help students to master basic skills needed for high school graduation and college enrollment.
