Sioux City Journal — Sara Olson has joined the Sioux City Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center/Betty Strong Encounter Center as History Education Coordinator.
In that position, Olson develops thematic history tours and programs for students and adults. She serves as a liaison to Sioux City and area schools.
A Marcus, Iowa, native, Olson graduated in 2014 summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history from Morningside College where she was a Roadman Scholar for four years.
She received a Friends Fellowship and an archival assistantship for her graduate studies in Public History at St. Cloud State University.
