Mjelleli ’08 to receive Graduate of the Last Decade Award
The St. Cloud State University Alumni Association has selected Marty Mjelleli ’08 as its 2015-16 Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) Award recipient, and will be honoring him during Fall Celebrate Sept. 5-17 at St. Cloud State.
Kakuk ’88 ’91 to receive University Leadership Award
Shawn Kakuk ’88 ’91 is the 2015-16 recipient of the St. Cloud State University Alumni Association’s University Leadership Award. He will be recognized for this accomplishment at Fall Celebrate Sept. 15-17 at St. Cloud State.
Goracke ’85 to receive Alumni Service Award
Alan Goracke ’85 has been chosen by the St. Cloud State University Alumni Association to receive the 2015-16 Alumni Service Award during the Fall Celebrate weekend September 15-17 at St. Cloud State. He received his bachelor’s degree in management from St. Cloud State.
Meyer ’72 to receive Distinguished Alumni Award
Marie Meyer ’72 has been selected as the 2015-16 recipient of the St. Cloud State University Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award. She will be recognized at a series of events during the Fall Celebrate weekend Sept. 15-17 at St. Cloud State.
Hagen ’64 to receive Visionary Award
Russ Hagen ’64 has been selected by the St. Cloud State University Foundation to receive its 2016 Visionary Award for his leadership and service to St. Cloud State. He will be recognized in a series of events during Fall Celebrate weekend at St. Cloud State Sept. 15-17.
Margaret and Leo Vos continue involvement in St. Cloud State
Margaret Skudlarek Vos ’72 ’82 and Leo Vos ’75 haven’t let Margaret’s retirement from St. Cloud State University curtail their involvement in their alma mater. The Vos’ recently established the Leo and Margaret Skudlarek Vos Admissions Scholarship, which is an endowed fund of the SCSU Foundation. Margaret and Leo are lifelong residents of Central Minnesota.
Swenson Foundation’s overall giving surpasses $500,000

Students learn about finance careers in Chicago
Students from the Husky Growth Fund traveled to Chicago in November to network with multiple finance industry leaders. The trip offered a variety of travel experiences and seminars giving students opportunities to network and educate themselves on real life aspects of finance.
