The St. Cloud State University Accounting department held its annual Meet the Firms event virtually this September. The event brought together students at all levels of the Accounting program to meet with potential employers in a risk-free environment with a total focus on learning about the profession. St. Cloud State University students participated in the Minnesota statewide CCDC competition Feb. 6. They finished in fifth place out of 13 teams. The college celebrated it’s new name and mission by unveiling a new sign showcasing the college’s committment to designing education for the future. The American Indian Center held a New Year Celebration this Sept. 9 to celebrate the new year and to culturally acknowledge the Minnesota tribal nation flags coming to campus. The event also unveiled and celebrated the new AIC mural designed by artists Sarah Agaton Howes and Holly Young that decorates the American Indian Center, 219 Atwood Memorial Center.
St. Cloud State University Campus Involvement celebrated 50 years of involvement fairs this September with an in-person and online Mainstreet events. Mainstreet involvement fair is held at the beginning of each fall semester to help students connect with more than 200 groups and organizations on campus. Student organizations promote their groups and recruit members.
A new exhibition of faculty art work opens Sept. 2 at the Kiehle Gallery in the Kiehle Visual Arts Center at St. Cloud State University.
