Students conduct an excavation at the Little Elk Unit of the Charles A. Lindbergh State Park. The area was the site of a 19th century mission, and during their spring dig students were looking for evidence of a structure and of diet and dress at the mission.
Workers with the Summer Food Program fed hundreds of hungry kids this summer. The annual food program served an estimated 60,000 meals this summer. The meals are put together each morning in the Garvey Commons kitchens before being distributed at schools, community centers and apartment complexes throughout the city.
