Position: University Archivist, University Archives
Tom was a co-chair of St. Cloud State’s 150th anniversary in 2019 and has done countless presentations to campus and local community groups regarding the institution’s long history as well as about specific material held in University Archives.
University Archivist since 2007, Tom Steman preserves and makes accessible the rich history of St. Cloud State University. In his position, Tom has made Archives relevant again by providing timely reference service to patrons, digitization of high-value material for greater access, and the teaching and training of undergraduate and graduate students.
