For the 5th straight year St. Cloud State University has earned the Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
The rehabilitation counseling department “Embracing the Difference: The Ability Event” brings awareness of the ability that people with disabilities have. The event, held April 13, was made up of experiential learning stations led by people with disabilities where participants can experience what it feels like to have that disability and how people with disabilities adapt
St. Cloud State University is recognized for its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the December issue of Insight Into Diversity magazine. St. Cloud State is honored along with 47 other Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) award recipients for its ongoing efforts to include all aspects of diversity such as gender, race, ethnicity, veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBT community.
