Justin Bragg has been named St. Cloud State University’s new Director of Esports. Bragg previously coached esports at Purdue Northwest for four seasons, leading the Pride to five varsity titles.
“I am excited to join St Cloud State and help continue building the esports program,” Justin Bragg said. “Esports offers the community so much, and I am looking forward to working with the students at St Cloud State.”
St. Cloud State University Esports has already seen several areas of success in the 2023-24 school year, including building new relationships on campus, creating traditions and recording impressive results in competition.

Viewership of Esports tournaments rivals that of traditional sporting events and the field is expanding to generate new professions in shoutcasting, event and team management, and Esports therapy.
Campus partnerships between Academic Affairs, Finance & Administration, Information Technology Services, Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Affairs have led to exciting and upcoming space expansions for Esports including new, innovative academic programming and an additional Esports venue dedicated to Esports education, gaming and events.
