St. Cloud Times – The city of St. Cloud and St. Cloud State University will formally close on a land swap that will allow for the opening of George Friedrich Park in a ceremony scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday.
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis and St. Cloud State President Earl H. Potter III will sign the documents in front of one the quarries in the park — a 50-plus acre swath of land located at the end of University Avenue on the city’s southeast side.
