Attending the College of Science and Engineering (COSE) Job and Internship Fair as a student in 2014, Jena Pung ’15 couldn’t have imagined that she’d be back as a recruiter this fall.

The information technology security graduate is an associate web software engineer at iMedNet where she works on a development team helping to maintain and develop iMedNet’s web applications.
She returned to campus this October as a recruiter for iMedNet, one of 76 employers presenting at the annual COSE Job and Internship Fair.
“It was exciting to come back this year as a recruiter,” she said. “The mock interviews and resume reviews that St. Cloud State provided were extremely helpful in preparation for my interview.”
The COSE job fair is held during peak recruiting season for science and engineering employers, who spoke with 520 students who attended this year’s fair.
Robert Wills ’15 also returned to campus for the job fair. He now spends his days inspecting failures, solving problems and helping make lines more efficient as a manufacturing engineer at Graco Inc.
The alumnus credits the mechanical engineering program at St. Cloud State University with helping him make a smooth transition from the classroom to the manufacturing floor.
“The machine control classes at St. Cloud State have given me a skill set that has allowed me to be valuable to my company,” he said. “… St. Cloud State did a great job at preparing me for my career.”
St. Cloud State Career Services holds several job and internship fairs throughout the year including the annual Career Day, Diversity Fair and Internship Fair.
