New York Times — Michael Casey, a veteran journalist who has broken global news on beats including terrorism, climate change, science and sports, is returning to The Associated Press as administrative correspondent for northern New England.
The appointment was announced Friday by Karen Testa, the news cooperative’s editor for the east region of the U.S.
Casey, 50, worked for the AP from 2002-2012 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Bangkok, Thailand; and Jakarta, Indonesia.
