“This is the big dog of awards” said Brian Stanley ’93, Husky Productions executive producer. “This award was judged by some of the biggest names in the sports production industry. To win the collegiate students category is a real honor. The entire crew should be very proud.”
Accepting on behalf of a crew of 24 were Katie Halter ’16, producer, Lamberton; Jeremy Klein ’16, studio host, Avon; and Neil Lommel, director, Luxemburg.
Lommel, who hails from a small town just 11 miles from Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, will return to direct broadcasts in 2016-17.
