St. Cloud State University organizations are planning an event at noon March 22 on the Atwood Mall to honor the victims and survivors of the Christchurch, New Zealand shooting attack.
Fifty people were killed and dozens injured when a gunman attacked people at Al Noor and Linwood mosques March 15, including the youngest victim, 4-year-old Mucaad Ibrahim.
Campus and community members are invited to honor the victims and survivors at noon March 22 on the Atwood Mall.
Speakers include representatives from St. Cloud State student organizations, campus administrators and St. Cloud community and religious organization representatives.
You can also honor the victims and survivors by stopping the Atwood Lounge kiosk from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday or 9-11:30 a.m. Friday to leave your thoughts and wishes for the Christchurch community. Fill out a blank postcard that will be added to a care package being sent to the Christchurch Community.
