St. Cloud State University hosted over 60 area high school students at the 2019 Scrubs Camp June 16-18.
Campers were exposed to elements of nursing, public health/emergency preparedness and gerontology by way of hands-on experiences, simulations and demonstrations.
In addition to on-campus events, campers made visits to the St. Cloud Hospital and The Good Shepherd Community.
Scrubs Camp was possible with the contributions of and/or the partnerships with: CentraCare, Good Sheperd Community, MN Department of Employment and Economic Development, St. Cloud Police Department, St. Cloud Fire Department, St. Cloud Area School District 742, St. Cloud Optomist’s Club and Stearns County Public Health.
