Annette Lee participates in the “Science Friday” episode Sept. 6 “Widening the lens on a more inclusive science” looking at indigenous peoples contributions to science.
Lee is a Lakota astronomer. She is an associate professor at St. Cloud State University and director of the Native Skywatchers program and Planetarium. Lee has expertise in extrasolar planets, Native American star knowledge, and science and math education.
The episode explored indigenous science and the underrepresented numbers of Native Americans and other indigenous groups in the sciences.
