‘Splintering Essence’ takes first in Miller Center Student Art Show

Ian Ryks won the 2019 Miller Center Student Art Show for his art work “Splintering Essence”.

Ian Ryks is the winner of the Miller Center Student Art Show for his “Splintering Essence”. 

The annual art show offers students a chance to display their art work on campus. The art is on display in the First Floor West Wing of the library. The Student Art Show will be on display through the beginning of spring semester in mid-January 2020. 

Paramount Center for the Arts staff Laura Ruprecht and Derick Segerstrom served as judges. 

The Art show is coordinated by Donavon Martison. It is put on with the assistance of University Library Dean Rhonda Husiman, University Library Access Services students and staff, University Library deans office and the faculty and staff in the Department of Art.
