St. Cloud Times — Plans are coming together to pay for total cost of attendance for the NCAA Division I men’s and women’s hockey players at St. Cloud State University beginning in the fall of 2016.
Universities across the country have started “cost of attendance” policies for Division I sports this year. It means that scholarships cover costs beyond tuition, fees, books, room and board — expenses covered by a traditional scholarship.
Some of the costs covered in the new scholarship would be travel expenses and additional food.
