Baylee Hugger, Hibbing, Lara Widman, Stillwater, and Julia Ramos, Brookings, will study abroad in spring semester 2016 at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, Ireland.

Mary Immaculate College is a new partner for St. Cloud State University and the three women will be the first St. Cloud State students to study at the institution.
The IIE Generation Abroad Scholarships can be used for tuition, books and travel costs while studying abroad for a semester in Ireland. The scholarships are designed to give more students — especially underrepresented students — the opportunity to study abroad. The scholarship funds from the Government of Ireland were matched by St. Cloud State.
The university is one of 26 institutions that received IIE funds to promote and diversify study abroad opportunities.
