Students interested in a career in computer security or information assurance have an opportunity to pursue an Information Assurance Scholarship Program (IASP) or a Scholarship for Service (SFS) award when they attend St. Cloud State University full-time as an undergraduate in the cybersecurity program or as a graduate student in information assurance.
The undergraduate scholarship includes possible benefits each year that will cover up to 30 credits of tuition, up to $2,000 for a book allowance, $4,000 in professional development travel allowance and a stipend of up to $22,500.
The graduate scholarship includes possible benefits each year to cover will up to 24 credits of tuition, up to $2,000 for a book allowance, $4,000 in professional development travel allow and a stipend of up to $34,000.

Following graduation, the students will work for the government at any level in a cybersecurity role for a period of time equal to the length of their scholarship.
