A new video about Isle Royale National Park is helping high school biology students find excitement in the animals that live on the island.
The video features scenes shot by Assistant Professor Jannet Walsh of moose walking in a river and other scenic video from the island.
Produced by the California Academy of Sciences for Chicago Public Schools “A Royale Mystery” introduces the students to fluctuations in the moose and wolf populations on the island in the past 30-40 years. The students then study the phenomena by analyzing data in class.
Walsh shot the video for a 2016 iPhone video project.
