Fiscal Year 2019 was a historic year for the St. Cloud State University Foundation, with $10.6 million raised – the most in the Foundation’s history! The $10.6 million raised represents an increase of 86 percent over the previous year. To every donor that helped us achieve such success on behalf of our students, faculty and staff, I say thank you.
The historic level of philanthropy for St. Cloud State was indeed fitting given that the University was in the midst of celebrating its 150th year anniversary, which culminated in September 2019. As the University envisions its next 150 years it’s become quite clear that philanthropy will play an ever increasing role in the University’s future. Charitable investment has the power to super charge St. Cloud State’s strategic aspirations and transform its ability to educate students and prepare them for successful careers.
As you page through this report you’ll see that philanthropy is evident throughout SCSU’s campus. It’s in the hope that a scholarship offers. It’s in a new lab that creates endless possibilities for applied learning. It’s in a performance center that helps make St. Cloud State Hockey nationally renowned.
