A pair of College of Science and Engineering faculty are sharing their knowledge presenting at conferences across the nation.
Dr. Felicia Leammukda presented in January at the 2020 International Conference of the Association for Science Teacher Education in San Antonio.
Her study “Community-Based Conceptual Framework for STEM Integration” introduces a framework for STEM integration that works to foster STEM interest in a broader population of students and promotes STEM-literacy for all.
This February it will be Dr. Mehdi Mekni’s turn to share his expertise in the Mediterranean when he presents “Smart Community Health: A Comprehensive Community Resource Recommendation Platform” at the HEALTHINF 2020 Conference on Health Informatics the week of Feb. 24 in Valletta, Malta.
HEALTHINF is part of BIOSTEC, the 13th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies.
