St. Cloud State University leaders participated in Protect the Pack Partnership Walks on Nov. 17-18 in areas adjacent to the St. Cloud State campus. This is part of the St. Cloud Police Department’s Safe Streets Initiative and was conducted in partnership with the Landlord Taskforce, the COP House Neighborhood Coalition, community-based organizations and St. Cloud State.
Called Protect the Pack Partnership Walks, University leaders joined SCPD and partners to meet students and residents and shared packets with information and tools for safety.
This engagement aligns with the University’s focus to Protect the Pack as it is elevating safety as a University priority and working with external partners to promote safety, security and awareness among students residing in neighboring off-campus housing.
The overall goals of this community engagement are to ensure students feel safe and secure, that they are informed and equipped for safety, and are aware of the resources available to them for themselves and others.
