St. Cloud State — On Saturday, like a certain cereal-seeking rabbit, St. Cloud State University students will try to prove some things aren’t just for kids.
The school will host a robotics competition, a VEX U regional qualifier, starting at 10 a.m. It will bring college teams from around Minnesota and a few other Midwest states to Halenbeck Hall field house.
According to event coordinator Bob Steffen, the roster of about 10 teams will make it the nation’s largest of seven regional qualifiers for the VEX Robotics World Championship, which will see 50 teams compete April 15-18 in Louisville, Kentucky.
