UTVS TV and KVSC 88.1 FM combined for 16 Sevareid Awards at the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association banquet April 11 in Bloomington, Minnesota. The annual awards are named for Emmy- and Peabody-winning reporter, the late Eric Sevareid (1912-1992).
Six broadcasters from St. Cloud State’s student-run radio station 88.1 FM KVSC earned awards, including three top honors, in the 2014 Minnesota Associated Press Broadcasters news contest.
