Free public seminars offer details about about reduced payment programs.

St. Cloud State’s nationally recognized Dance Team is crowdfunding $2,000 to support its participation in a national competition.

A noon Nov. 1 event at the St. Cloud State Welcome Center will offer Central Minnesotans an opportunity to stand in solidarity with victims of the recent mass shooting in Pittsburgh.

“Sitting this election out will not be interpreted as a political statement against the status quo – it will be seen as apathy, laziness or a desire to let other people choose for you,” said Jim Cottrill, St. Cloud State political science professor.

More than 110 films, in nine categories, will screen during the Nov. 3-10 St. Cloud Film Fest.

Benjamin F. Richason III earned the Distinguished Educator Award from the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium.

St. Cloud State is 71st among American four-year colleges for supporting and educating service members, according to a “Best for Vets” ranking by Military Times.
