Forced to live on his own when he turned 18, Sam Bannerman ’17 found some of life’s challenges overwhelming. But it was his St. Cloud State professors’ and advisors’ recognition that he had a drive to help others that turned his challenges into opportunities.
Phyllis Greenberg is an associate professor of gerontology at St. Cloud State University and a board member for the St. Cloud Area Jewish Community. Greenberg said she’s feeling “mortified, pissed, disappointed and sad” after learning of the incident.
“Three-quarters of the graduates from our May cohort had full-time jobs before they graduated,” said Jane Bagley, Department of Nursing chairperson.
Shonda M. Craft, an associate dean for the College of Community Studies and Public Affairs at Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, has accepted the position of interim dean for the School of Health and Human Services at St. Cloud State University and will start June 12. She will serve through June 30, 2018.
Tech High School boys tennis and Paul Bates ’87 have their eyes on the state team tournament June 6 in Minneapolis.
