Good afternoon distinguished guests, students, faculty, staff and community members. Today we are gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Eastman Hall, but more importantly the legacy carries with the history of our institution. I think the remodel of Eastman has added another culture to this campus with Medical Clinic and Pharmacy, UCHOOSE, Counseling and Psychological Services all located in the same building, I think it’s going to be the epitome of student health and wellness.
Personally I have always had a pleasant experience with the services that have moved to this building, located right across from the mighty Mississippi I cannot imagine how beautiful and cherishing will the feeling be to enjoy the fall colors across the river, and I certainly think will pacify the emotions running through the stress of college life. I’d like to ask everyone to enjoy this building through the beautiful design and architecture and the services that it holds for students to have a healthy life in all aspects.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible and wish all the very best for success in the forthcoming year. Thank you.
