St. Cloud Times — Over the years, a number of talented players from St. Cloud have found their way on to the basketball team at St. Cloud State.
But Huskies head coach Matt Reimer can’t remember the last time his team had three hometown players on the roster at the same time. Reimer’s recollections go back to the 1997-98 season, when he became assistant coach.
In the fold this season are freshman guard Brindley Theisen, a 6-foot-2, 183-pounder out of St. Cloud Cathedral, freshman forward Jake Mussman, a 6-5, 190-pounder who played his senior season at St. Cloud Tech, and sophomore forward Andy Foley, a 6-5, 205-pounder who also had a standout career at Tech.
