St. Cloud Times – At the end of a week where sexual violence and its consequences have been all over national news and social media, representatives from area college campuses will participate in a first-of-its-kind Campus Sexual Violence Prevention Summit this week.
The summit — a year in the making — was created to train and guide campuses as they attempt to comply with state legislation passed in 2015.

Some of those willing to confront the issues come from St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud Technical & Community College, the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University. Representatives will attend the summit in St. Paul Thursday and Friday.
They are part of 57 campuses statewide that are attending, Cournoyer said.
